This individual will process Property and Casualty claims information received from clients, claimants and the Service Offices, post claim payments within detailed accounts utilizing the claims system, and support documentation and communication efforts related to claims process.
This person would also effectively contribute to the overall smooth operation of the department by following procedures and guidelines and working effectively with other departments. Requirements of this position include a high school diploma and a minimum of two years’ experience in a clerical position.

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Loss Control Representative in our office in Omaha, NE. The person in this position will be responsible for providing risk management services by conducting safety inspections and promoting safety awareness through educational seminars, writing of safety articles, distributing other safety materials and assisting members with contract review.
This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, typing skills, and public relation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required and experience with PowerPoint is preferred. An undergraduate degree or comparable education, or experience in conducting safety inspections is preferred. Candidates with comparable education and experience will be considered along with individuals who demonstrate the ability to learn new duties. The person in this position must have the ability to travel approximately 30-50% of the time.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the Accounts Payable function for Catholic Mutual Group including general administrative support for the Finance Department. The AP Specialist prepares and processes all expense reimbursements and company deposits as well as maintaining collection status on miscellaneous invoices and reconciling to the general ledger.
The AP Specialist requires 3-5 years prior experience with the following: Processing accounts payable, using accounts payable and general ledger software systems, and using Microsoft Excel and an email system similar to Microsoft Outlook. Experience with Adobe Professional is desirable. This position should have strong attention to detail and technical skills in accounts payable and general accounting and bookkeeping.

This individual will process Property claims from beginning to end by verifying coverages, adjusting claims directly or assigning them to independent adjusters. Responsibilities would also include authorizing payments or denials and communicating with clients, claimants, and adjusters both verbally and in writing.
Requirements of this position include an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with property claims adjusting. An additional 5 years of property claims adjusting experience is preferred. The position of Claims Representative requires extensive telephone contact, and the individual should possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

The Director of Finance is responsible for the daily, monthly and quarterly financial operations and the accounting functions of Catholic Mutual Group. Directs the daily financial operations, recommends accounting policies and procedures and supervises staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for documenting and maintaining adequate general internal accounting controls. Directs the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP for internal and external users and reviews for accuracy. Coordinates the preparation of work papers and correspondence with independent auditors.
The individual in this position must have a minimum of five years’ insurance accounting experience. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills are essential. The individual should be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, along with proficient in other Microsoft Office applications. The minimum education requirement is a four-year college degree with a major in accounting. The Certified Public Accountant distinction is preferred.
