We have an excellent opportunity available for an Underwriting Manager. This leadership opportunity will oversee the activities of our multi-line underwriting department. This position requires an advanced level of expertise and judgment to analyze renewals & new business opportunities and provide approval for risk selection and acceptance, coverage, and pricing for multi-line business. Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external service partners.
Requirements for this position include an undergraduate degree or equivalency and at least 7 years of progressively more responsible property/casualty underwriting and book of business management experience and 3 years supervisory experience strongly desired. CPCU/AU designation highly preferred.
