Catholic Mutual Group has an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Lines Claims Representative in our office in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The successful candidate will investigate/handle claims and conduct annual safety inspections while working closely with the Operations Manager to provide services required by assureds. The Multi-Lines Claims Representative will facilitate the fair and equitable settlement of claims by investigating and reviewing, verifying coverages, obtaining estimates of repair and/or contractor bids and making recommendations regarding claim settlement and/or payment.
The individual in this position must have a general understanding of insurance, marketing, and communications, with at least three to five years’ experience in claims adjusting. The successful candidate should have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires telephone contact, and the individual should possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. This position requires 20% travel by car for claim investigations and to conduct risk management assessments. An undergraduate degree or the completion of insurance courses such as IIA General Insurance is required.
