Catholic Mutual Group has an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Lines Claims Rep for our Hartford/Norwich Service Office located in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The Multi-Lines Claims Rep receives and adjusts claims and works closely with Operations Manager and Claims/Risk Manager to provide services required by assureds. Facilitates the fair and equitable settlement of claims by investigating and reviewing the claim, verifying coverages, obtaining estimates of repair and/or contractor bids and making recommendations regarding claim settlement and/or payment. Assists the Operations Manager or Claims/Risk Manager in other insurance and risk management programs for the Archdiocese.
The individual in this position must have a general understanding of insurance, marketing, and communications, with at least three years-experience in claims adjusting. The individual should have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires extensive telephone contact, and the individual should possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. An undergraduate degree or the completion of insurance courses such as IIA General Insurance is required.
